This is the National Aboriginal Monument in Ottawa. It was unveiled on June 21, 2005 to honour approximately 12,000 soldiers of Aboriginal, Métis, Inuit descent, who fought to protect our freedom in World War I, World War II and the Korean War.One of the twelve thousand soldiers who were courageous to fight for peace and freedom was Tommy Prince (1915-1977).
