
World War II presented many opportunities for women abroad as well as those who stayed "home". Rosie the Riveter was the poster girl for those women who supported the war effort and replaced many of the men's jobs while they were off at war.
However, equally as important were those women who were over seas. Aiding the sick, wounded and dying. There were even a few brave women who chose to be spies, like Canadian, Mona Parsons.
